Narbeck Wetlands Sanctuary

Wow, it’s been a few years since I’d crept away for an early morning walk around the Narbeck Wetlands. ¬†Things are really becoming overgrown. ¬†Still, the wetlands are a little slice of heaven in the middle of a sprawling industrial complex.

Have a look…

Early morning on the marsh

Magic hour light is great for photos

These alder trees have grown about 30 feet in the last few years

A little bushwhacking took me to the edge of the marsh

Juvenile ducks...

These juvenile ducks...

Were not the least bit concerned...

With my presence...

A beautiful morning
