Let’s just start this adventure with a giant thank you to my daughter Leane.  It was Leane that put the whole “Breakfast at the Beach” idea into motion.  What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning… and much of an afternoon, as well.

Our whole family was able to make it, along with our dear friends Heather, Audrey, and Hazel.  (Even though those girls are not technically related to us they are very much our family).  Here are a few photos from the day as well as a little movie.  Enjoy.

I thought Delbert McClinton’s “Sandy Beaches” would be a perfect song for the video.

Well we had a marvelous day at the beach.  The ferry came an went several times, trains rumbled by just across the street, thunder and lightening rocked the skies across the bay, and we managed to get sand in everything we own.  Yep, a marvelous day!  Thanks again Leane for organizing the outing for us.  We love you.
